The original seat of this BMW K750 was made of Skai (Artificial leather) The Skai however, in combination with a polyester motorcycle pants, made the driver slide all over the place while making corners. It gave my client a very “unsafe” feeling so we had to find a solution. It seemed some types of leather in combination the polyester gave the driver way more grip. So I replaced the Skai with genuine brown Nappa leather (a full-grain un-split leather) and the problem was solved. I used a high temperature resistant waterproof glue combination with blind rivets and coated the leather with wax.
